Want price drops? Wait.

To those of you complaining about the X Box One price drops, you should have waited like I did.

Back in the day I wanted a C64. I was in school, mom and dad sure weren't going to buy me one...and the only words of wisdom they had was,"You're just going to have to wait until you are old enough to get a job and buy one your self!". Ha! The jokes on them!
When walking though a consignment shop, I saw and purchased a Commodore 64 in the box with games, the disk drive, and the tape deck, for $20; they retailed for $595.00 in 1982 (That was just for the C64). Works great too! Sure it's a irrelevant system now,
but I don't feel "burnt" like those "day one" buyers! ;-)

So remember...wait 32 years to buy a X Box One or you may have overpaid!

Why did you not post this before. That way I would not have overpaid. Thanks a lot.

As for this price cut I have heard a few say they will wait since MS has cut the price 2 times in the first year. They did not understand that the Kinect SKU was still $499 and the Kinect-less launched at $399.

As for this price drop I hope it does end. Some expect it to become permanent. I hope it does not. Give a little more power to these price drops instead of the crap where people think that one holiday price drop indicates MS is not confident in their
product.

People will complain about anything these days.

If I waited 32 years for Xbox 1, they would probably have discontinued XBL support for the console by then and may be up to Xbox 6.

Some positives with being in early. Be the first IN to experience the released console, have the controller autographed by Microsoft aka Day One 2013 on it. And to let you know I pre-ordered and got the Day 1 for Xbox 1 and DIDN'T pay full RRP for it so
that's another yay for me, I saved 100 cents off the full RRP from EB Games. 100 is a big figure ;D.
