So here’s my problem, my friend wants to buy me an Xbox gift card but it’s in pounds and I live in Ireland and the currency in Ireland is euro. They don’t have a credit card or an Xbox account so they can’t give the the gift on the Xbox.

I usually don't buy much of anything in the Microsoft Store, but the way the Xbox Digital Gift Card I linked above works comes in real handy when you want to buy something, but you can't afford or don't want to buy the default amounts they have at retailers.

When you purchase an Xbox gift card, make sure that the currency you use matches the currency associated with the recipient’s billing account. Otherwise, the recipient will be unable to redeem the gift card.
