I have not turned mine on in quite some time. It probably has like 5 gwg que'd up lol

Goatsnatcher · Jul 27, 2014

I got rid of My PS3 a year or two back, wish I had kept it because I missed out on The Last of Us. Not really worth getting another now though.

brandiesel1 · Jul 27, 2014

^^ What a great game that is though.

Goatsnatcher · Jul 27, 2014

Lol.....I don't know, is it?

I'll get to play it in a year or two when I eventually get a PS4.

I bought an XBOX ONE a few months ago, I have my XBOX 360 connected (via HDMI) to my XBOX ONE, so I can still play both without switching inputs..

So yeah.. buy an XBOX ONE, but keep your 360. I still go back and play GTA V and some of the older CoD's.

Keep your 360. If you don't mind pre owned maybe look at getting a pre owned XB1? Its what I did and saved well over £100 (this was before the kinectless option and before the titanfall £350 bundle). But if you look around you should be able to get a pre
owned XB1 for cheap depending where you live.

X1's you can pick up pretty cheap on Craigs list, ebay etc. Often less than $200 bucks. What I would do is keep the 360 along with the account you have for it, and when the time is right.. XBL Gold about up... Pick up a X1 and create a separate XBL Gold
account for it.

What's the point in doing that ?

NxtDoc1851 · Jul 27, 2014

Buy an Xbox One, and keep your 360 as part of a collection.

Burst Axe · Jul 27, 2014

This shouldn't even be a dilemma...

kingvas78 · Jul 27, 2014

My 360 gets turned on twice a month, to download the GwG for it. I don't even play the games, but have a itch to download them anyways.

SigmaTheDJ · Jul 27, 2014

I haven't used my 360 since I got my Xbox One on launch day, but I wouldn't sell it. I have over 200 XBLA/indie games for it and even though I haven't had an urge to play them recently, I may do in the future.

If MS made a version of the Xbox One with hardware-based backwards compatibility in it, I'd buy one in a heartbeat. I'd have no problem with paying extra for that functionality. It's not going to happen though, unfortunately.

JPep715 · Oct 31, 2018

Besides the fact that I go back to play games I kept the 360 to access netflix on a second tv. That way if the wife is watching one of her shows or put on a movie for my 2 yr old girl I can still watch a special effects driven manly explosion fest in another
room.

I would love to trade in my 360. The only reason I ever turn it on is for a single app. Once that app comes to the Xbox One, it's going to Gamestop that day.

I did it partly because one of my friends wanted to give it to his kids for Christmas. I gave him like 6 or 7 games, S console and a ton of games downloaded to the hard drive plus the silver controller with the adjustable D-pad all for 90 euro.

I went to his house recently and noticed that his new puppy ate the thumbsticks off of the silver controller. I died a little bit that day. lol

At least I still have my PS3.

I regret everyday that I sold my 360. I didn't even need the money towards the ONE. I just figured I wouldn't play it any more, but I really wish I still had it.

The Xbox One console, despite its few shortcomings that have already been mentioned above, is still a great entertainment and gaming device that is well worth the purchase, IMO. The others are right though; if you're still attached to your Xbox 360, there's
no reason for you to remove it from the equation. So, hold on to it, get an Xbox One, and enjoy the best of what Xbox Live has to offer across ALL of its platforms!
