    Walmart Launch Day was a Horrible Experience


    I "Purchased" a Series X on Walmart.com following the link from the Microsoft Store today at noon as was requested on the website. I was able to complete the purchase, billed to my credit card and receipt in hand. About 8:00 pm my wife goes to the Whitehall
    PA Store and is told that all online orders were cancelled. She was told by the pick desk they had stock on hand but the manager was not releasing them, apparently they had already been accounted for but were not being picked up until 11/14...funny how Walmart
    give 4 days to pick up online orders. After 45 minutes and 3 different people I was told they had a system glitch and all online orders were cancelled but I can try to purchase again when they are in stock...I can sign up for alerts. Funny part is I can find
    them for sale on Ebay in Walmart boxes. Is it the employees? I left a review on Walmart's website but they could care less. Microsoft needs to pressure the retailers to be honest and factual with the release of items that are so hotly anticipated. I'm just
    one consumer who they could care less about.
