Walking Dead series - which one?

Hi All,

I'm really liking the look of the Walking Dead series - there seems to be three games though, Series 1, Series 2 and then Game of the year edition... do I need all three, or does GoTY Edition come with series 1 and 2?

Finally, I've noticed you can buy "season passes" - which say you get access to all levels of series 1 or 2 (depending on which you buy). These are half the price of the actual game though, so what is the difference?

Got the entire Walking Dead series.

 

There's 2 seasons and a standalone episode called '400 Days' The game of the year edition basically comes with all the episodes and 400 Days for season 1.

If you buy the season pass you will still get the same game, there's no difference.

 

Drunky has nailed it. Great game if your a fan of the series or the comics you wont be dissapointed, just make sure you play them in the correct order and play 400 days before you start season 2.

I've just purchased series 1 and 2 - didn't know about 400 days so I'll make sure I get that once I've completed the first series.

 

Even if your not a fan these are great games. I have only watched about 15 mins of the show but i have enjoyed this series (what i have played) need to get the 360 out and finish it off.

 

Get it on the One its better graphically!

As a fan of the comic series I have to say that I found this Telltale series to be about as exciting and entertaining as a glass of water.

But some people really love it so as long as you know what you're getting into you should be fine.

 

People who like the comic or the TV series or neither should still enjoy this game, its tense and exciting. They nailed The Walking Dead atmosphere and characters. Only criticism is it's a bit glitchy at times.

 

Yes I agree there Drunky, to be honest I have only ever heard one person say a bad word about the game and thats Az, who I believe only played the first episode. I have read every comic and as you say they absolutely nailed it.

 

Loving the game! I really would recommend this game...

However, I payed £34.99 for it - you can now get the entire Telltale Games collection for £34.99 as part of Xbox's massive sale!! Gutted that they have done this.... but never mind
