    Walking Dead Backward Compatibelity Issues


    um hello

    ii seem to be having some issues with my xbox one Compatibelity and walking dead season 2

    So today i got walking dead season one and I already bought season 2 and I bought the season 1 on my Xbox 1 and season 2 on my Xbox 360 so I heard about backwards thing and thought "Ok I'll get my season 2 on my Xbox 1!" And I go in the shop and search
    it sure enough they have it I click it and it says BUY and I'm think heck no I spent 24 bucks to get this game I'm not buying it again so I try again still says BUY I search up to see a solution it seems as no one else posted a forum with this problem....

    IM CLUELESS WHAT DO I DO?!

    (Any bad spelling is caused by my IPad and big fingers Walking Dead Backward Compatibelity Issues :D)

    I have the same problem. I deleted most things off my hard drive and tried it connected and not connected to xbox live but had no luck! Have no clue what to try now!

    How are you downloading it? Wireless or Wired? How much free space do you have on your hard drive? Is the Xbox 360 the only device using the internet when you attempt this?

    Wireless connectivity has had issues with large downloads getting interrupted as the signal can get "hiccups" so make sure to use a cable if you can. Also, the less devices using your internet bandwidth will make it easier for the download to complete.

    Another suggestion is turn on auto complete downloads and after starting the download turn off the system. Some games I have downloaded myself would get stuck if the system was on even just sitting on the Dashboard, but finished trying it this way.

    Yes Blitz BUT i said that it says BUy but i already bought it and i already own it so if you they have it for xbox 1 and you can buy it i should be able to get it already for my xbox 1

    As originally stated it is because the titles are not backwards compatible. It doesn't matter if you already purchased it on the Xbox 360, it's telling you to buy it again because you have to. The licenses won't transfer between Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

    As originally stated it is because the titles are not backwards compatible. It doesn't matter if you already purchased it on the Xbox 360, it's telling you to buy it again because you have to. The licenses won't transfer between Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

    Backwards compatibility not working

    I had the same error message with walking dead not backwards compatible issue I know but after clearing cache and re-trying multiple times the issue was resolved....

    Hey there FaithfulDeer700,

    As mentioned by XA JJKILLERs the game would need to be available as a backwards compatible title in order to be played on the Xbox One. You are able to find a list of all available games by following the link below.


    The only "Walking Dead" games that are available are as follow:

    • The Walking Dead
    • The Walking Dead: Michonne - Episode 1
    • The Walking Dead: Season Two

    In this case the title you are asking about would not be available to play on the Xbox One.
