Wait, what was that over there?

First and foremost greetings to all reading this, and shouts out to my fellow Xbox Ambassadors.

Whenever you are completing a game, let's say in the campaign mode, do you take your time to pay attention to detail? I can remember the first Doom on my Hewlett-Packard tower in the 90s, there were secrets in the levels, and you had to pay attention
to the texture in the walls to find them.

Fable offers this same type of gameplay to find secrets all throughout its entire series. I have seen crumbled walls, entangled Vines, and even cracked floors. Fortnite save the world mode does the same thing when you are in the bottom of a crypt and looking
for a chest, namely the troll chest. As of recently, my son and I completed the Halo 5 campaign, and in this game you have to Spartan charge through crumbled walls to find some hidden loot.

My question to you is, do you take the time to notice these things, or do you just run through to completion?

Hello fellow gamers. To be honest I think that's the meat of the game.... of any game. The hidden things, the little anomalies that you have to just look and see what they are. Right now playing Division 2,when I'm in the classified mission it takes me
forever because I have to really search, not only for the collectibles and how to reach them, but for the backpack trophy as well. In GTA5 there's certain cars that spawn and that's the only time you can get them, so I'll wait for those times see how many
I can get. 1st time I play a game it takes me forever because I have to take my time after that then it's on the hardest difficulty. Happy gaming everyone.

LOL Great thread thanks for this! I am notorious for taking a very long time to finish story modes... I'm always convinced there's a secret passage or little tid bit that will come in handy later on, I'm always intensely looking around before moving onto
the next zone or chapter.

I don’t really look for these things on my first play through but if I’ve really enjoyed a game and I’m playing through it again then I really try and look out for these things

It depends. Certain games like RDR2 really make me just take my time and explore all kinds of features... other
games pull me into the story so much that I just want to know what happens next--so sometimes I'm not as exploratory lol.
