Wait....6v6???

I have £45 of GAME reward points saved up, waiting to be spent on this title. If it's good, then that's great. If it's poor, then no real money lost. I like many others though, are expecting great things from this title. I really hope we are not over hyping
it and on launch be extremely let down. Also, I hope the server side on release day is ready and capable of supporting the mass' and we don't have another Battlefield 4 scenario, even with 6vs6!.

I'm pretty confident we won't see the issues we are seeing with Battlefield 4, but
if we did, Microsoft will be crucified by people even on this forum, if that day happens will be the day I'll avoid the forums for quite a while lol.

 

Man this is what destroying games. Everyone just complains and net picks them. We have not even played the game and people are complaining about it. Not every thing needs to be a 64 player game. In battle 4 in turn into cod. Every one camps. Its destroyed
battlefield for me. So 6v6 many be really good cuz people have to go look for people. And not camp as much, Who knows. Don't complain in till its out. then if it sucks when it comes out, then by all means do so.

I hope everything runs smoothly. But lately with Microsoft as a whole, I have become more of a pessimist, than an optimist.

It's called a discussion. Good or bad, that's what forums are for. No one here is stating facts, how can they. Everyone is entitled to their own options and thoughts on past, current or indeed upcoming games. It's what makes the Xbox community so great,
and why I have stuck around since beta days. For me, 6vs6 is ideal! ....All good fun!

 

Don't know why most people think it's a big deal, as a Gears of War player i loved it being 6V6.

Gears is my most intense MP game i ever played this might even top it with the including AI could reach to almost 50 characters in game.

 

^ I think a lot of people and it could have been why I was a little surprised when it was announced it was 6v6 are seeing games like Battlefield 4 on next gen consoles with 32v32 and maybe expect every game to have big player counts? ..

I totally agree with what others have said though, more players doesn't automatically mean "More Fun", personally I find the 16v16 Rush games better than 32v32 Conquest games on Battlefield and I've played MP games where it's only been 4v4 and 6v6 and had a
lot more fun than on any BF game.

For me smaller player counts make the game more about team work, in games like Battlefield 4, unless you can get 31 friends on the same team it loses any tactical/team play so who knows 6v6 on Titanfall could play a lot better with a group of friends? ..

The funny thing is, looking around on various forums I think most are not concerned about it being 6v6 but quite a few are using it to say ..... "It's because the Xbox One can't handle more players" .. ;-)

 

There are a lot of people who say its because it lacks power but they are talking crap, people need to read the interviews with respawn, the decision was made from playtesting, while I am on the fence about the game it's the lies being thrown around that
irritate me

 

I show you 6 vs 6 rendering at 720p native and you reply Cloud power......... something is wrong here.

6 v 6 sounds like it is going to be similar to bf3.....a couple guys in vehicles on large maps.

With it only being 6 v 6 I'm worried it is just going to be dominated by the mechs and not be an infantry based game. If I wanted to play transformers I would play transformers.

With the action I saw in the trailers I was sure there would be a large amount of players.

Expectations have dropped even lower. COD will retain its belt. lol, 1 stars incoming.

I will enjoy taking them out more than actually being one. That will be a lot more satisfying to me. So I hope there is a level of mechs and infantry most of the time. Although all out mechs could be interesting also.

Despite Battlefield 4 being one of the better looking games on the system, arguably better looking than Titanfall, and having 64 players online too at the same "rumoured" resolution.

Titanfall has a lot of AI on the map. It has always been planned to have the AI on the map. It uses AI in a way not used before in a multiplayer game on console. To drive the game and narrative forward. People seem to forget this is a multiplayer game and campaign
all in one! Not just your regular team deathmatch.

 

For all the people who like to take snide shots at the "Call Of Duty" franchise it seems wierd that people would be upset that this isn't simply a "COD re-skin".

 

Sorry one thing I would like to add, I play COD, if I play multiplay not in a team, very often I end up on a team with 3-4 or 5 people are happy to be cannot fodder, I can play a really good game and still loose, the other day i was playing kill confirmed
and two people in the team went 2 kills for 23 deaths and 1 kill for 28 deaths, it was fairly close due to me and someone else playing well, but we still lost, I have not played battlefield when there hasn't been 6v6 (i think rush on battlefield bad company
2), but how much cannot fodder will there be on battlefield 4on pc and xbox one, and on any game which goes above 6v6.

Now I don't like cannon fodder, on either side I want a good hard game win or lose, with Titan falls being that bit different I do think the difference between ok and good is going to be bigger, 6v6 sounds even better from this view point.

How fortunate for you. Between now and March you only need to make 5 friends.
