    W10 Xbox One App Message to play not working


    W10 Xbox One app message player has been down for a few months now I was wondering when it will be fixed. You select player, + more + Message; a box opens asking to select player, (that’s weird I’m on the player I want to message) I try to select the player
    I want to message and it doesn’t work not matter how I fiddle with it. Please fix this.

    I was having the same issue.. so i logged into the smartglass app and deleted all of my messages.. now i can use messages on xbox.com but it's still not working on the W10 Xbox App. If I click messages, the app shuts down.

    W10 Xbox App Message Crash!

    The W10 Xbox app now crashes constantly when trying to open messages!

    Can't type on keyboard

    Also having this problem ever since the new dashboard went live for all.

    Cannot get the virtual keyboard to appear on the xbox w10 app nor the smartglass app (Android).

    Doesn't work for in game text chat, dashboard typing, or messaging.

    Hello

    At the moment I think the best way to do this is to download
    Smartglass     on your smartphone or to have the
    Xbox App     open on a W10 device. If you're phone or W10 device is on the same network as your Xbox One you can then type on your Xbox using those devices when you're prompted with a keyboard.

    (It doesn't work in certain apps like Netflix though)
