    VUDU Crashing on Launch


    VUDU keeps crashing within 3 seconds after trying to launch it from the apps tile. Been happening for a couple days... anyone else? Movies & TV isn't working now either and Xbox live is working.

    Vudu error

    the scenario: launch vudu, begin show. turn off xbox (in instant on mode). turn on xbox and resume vudu either from current app pane or recent app pin. Vudu opens with last frame visible. Gives error and returns to vudu home. Find show in vudu library, try
    to resume watching. Vudu crashes back to start screen. Relaunch vudu (not resume), show plays successfully.

    Vudu - downloaded several times but can't link my gamertag with Vudu Account (360 only)

    On my xbox one it works, but I have downloaded the vudu app several times and cleared system cache on my xbox 360 and each time the app launches it never asks to link to my vudu account or accept the terms of service and doesn't show any of my ultraviolet
    movie collection. I want the app to prompt me for my Vudu account and password so it will link to my ultraviolet account.

    Any way to get Xbox 360 vudu app to do a clean install so it doesn't seem to want to hold on to the settings of the previous install. I can't see in the app what account it is linked to.

    I checked on Managed devices under my Vudu account and I can see the xbox one, but no way to add my 360 to the managed devices.

    I've gotten that twice now with Vudu and Transformers on Xbox One. Xbox 360 works perfect. So far the movie has crashed twice after clicking "Ok" and trying again. Why does Vudu stink on the One?

    VUDU app failing on Xbox since early March

    I have XBOX series X VUDU Black screen issue ( app wont launch) since Late AUG 2021, there was an xbox update in OCTOBER introducing additional support and settings for Dolby vision and HDR and whatever that was made the VUDU app worked again, however it has been short lived as I have made a purchase on VUDU on 11/29 and now I get a black screen on xbox when launching, does this VUDU app not work with certain resolutions that fight tv and XBOX, it works on PS5 , it works through my SONY Television, I'm curious if the latest update that was pushed about a week ago has crippled the VUDU app again... any help or suggestions would be appreciated, so done with functionality not working with NEXT GEN tech, we can go to space but can't get an app to stream on a streaming device, very frustrated XBOX user....

    I have this same issue and ONLY on my Xbox Vudu app, everything else streams fine but Vudu on Xbox has constant buffering on anything hdx and above, intermittent on standard. For me this is only happening on my series x version of the app, I have a one x, two iPads, an android tablet and Vudu works no problem no buffering can watch things all day, but as soon as I get on my series x and launch Vudu I can be certain it’ll ask me if I want to down grade quality to lessen buffering (and of course it’s worded to make me feel like it’s an issue with my isp) within the first ten to twenty min of watching something. It’s definitely an updated Xbox Vudu app issue, Since I can stream from my Vudu account flawlessly on any other device in my house.

    I have the same issues, 90mbps down/15mbps up connection.

    When playing Vudu movies the app will just suddenly crash and go to the xbox one home screen. Relaunching the app and then the movie takes me back to the beginning of the movie. I am unable to watch a single movie without it crashing at least 6 times.
