    Vudu App UI Update Please


    It's been almost 2 years and the vudu app is still atrocious to use. I get that the original design included a UI with the Kinect sensor, but even still, the layout to find, categorize and navigate items within the app was never optimized.

    It is a chore to have to constantly scroll right to find a movie to decide if you want to watch it or not and if not, having to start back at square one all over again. Not to mention, more comprehensive information should be included on each show
    such as, the cast and audio formats available.

    With such a large selection to browse, the listings should be provided in a grid format. The design should be just like the design of the vudu website. I am able to utilize this exact layout on my other devices which are where I usually go to now if
    I am going to watch a movie or show on vudu. I use my Xbox One for all other media. It's a shame that I have to go elsewhere for one app.

    Is there any insight was to when we may get a more user friendly version of the vudu app?

    Vudu App connection timeout for at least 5 days straight

    Sadly, Vudu is fully under the control of Vudu themselves. After having gone rounds and rounds with them about the previous version of the app, it became apparent that they didn't really care about making the app work. Let's hope that this has changed with
    the update.

    Is there any way for you guys (x box) to update the vudu app? or is that done by them?

    App updates and changes are on the app developer's end. I recommend reaching out to Vudu and providing your feedback to them.

    VUDU app failing on Xbox since early March

    I have XBOX series X VUDU Black screen issue ( app wont launch) since Late AUG 2021, there was an xbox update in OCTOBER introducing additional support and settings for Dolby vision and HDR and whatever that was made the VUDU app worked again, however it has been short lived as I have made a purchase on VUDU on 11/29 and now I get a black screen on xbox when launching, does this VUDU app not work with certain resolutions that fight tv and XBOX, it works on PS5 , it works through my SONY Television, I'm curious if the latest update that was pushed about a week ago has crippled the VUDU app again... any help or suggestions would be appreciated, so done with functionality not working with NEXT GEN tech, we can go to space but can't get an app to stream on a streaming device, very frustrated XBOX user....

    I've gone rounds with Vudu support before and what it really comes down to is that they paid somebody else to create the app for them (this was
    not Microsoft) and so they take no responsibility for the app, it's errors, or it's upkeep. Microsoft did not build, design, or have anything else to do with this app so will not and cannot do anything to maintain or update it. Vudu simply doesn't
    care if it works right or not.
