Vudu app not opening on Xbox 360

We've had vudu on our xbox360 for a long time. Recently, it will not open, citing "it is unavailable now, try again later" and there's a network connectivity error. However, our WiFi is working on all our devices, I can use vudu on my laptop (and view the tv shows we've purchased there). We deleted vudu from xbox and reloaded it, we restarted our router (we have FIOS internet service)--neither helped. All our other apps work on the xbox360 (e.g. Netflix, Amazon Prime). Anyone have this issue, or any ideas on what is wrong/how to fix it? Thanks.
