VUDU App Crashes and Shuts Off Console

Recently, when trying to watch movies on VUDU, the movie will play for about 10-15 minutes, then it will lag, and shut the console off completely. It doesn't crash the app, it doesn't kick me to the Home screen, it literally powers off the console.

Anybody else experiencing this issue? It's never happened before last week, and I've tried watching multiple movies so I know it's an issue with the app, and not the movie itself.

EDIT: Just wanted to add that this is only affecting the Xbox One. I can switch to my 360 and watch the same movies, without having any problems.

Vudu error

the scenario: launch vudu, begin show. turn off xbox (in instant on mode). turn on xbox and resume vudu either from current app pane or recent app pin. Vudu opens with last frame visible. Gives error and returns to vudu home. Find show in vudu library, try
to resume watching. Vudu crashes back to start screen. Relaunch vudu (not resume), show plays successfully.

 

Netflix keep shutting off my Xbox 1

My netflix app crashes alot where i have to hard reset, but it doesnt shut off my xbox.

Same here. I contacted xbox support and they advised to go to Settings, Blu-Ray player, and clear the 'persistent storage' three times. This does work, but a pain in the *** to do this every time you want to use Vudu. This needs to be fixed ASAP.

 

This has been happening to me too, about 3-5 times per movie. Hope its fixed soon.

 

This has happened to me repeatedly. I'm sick of it.

 

I have the same issue, but it just started that last few times I've watched VUDU.

 

Have they fixed this issue yet? I also have been having the same problem.

I'm sorry to hear about the issue. In the meantime if you haven't already, let's try out some troubleshooting steps to see if we can get this sorted out.

• Uninstall the
  VUDU app.
  
• Power Cycle your Xbox One console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds.
  
• Once your console is completely off, unplug the console from the power source and give it a few minutes.
  
• Then, plug all the cords back in and turn on your console.
• Reinstall the VUDU app again and try playing a movie.

It worked for a bit but now it's doing it again, is this something that's going to get fix or I'm going to have to constantly uninstall and reinstall every time
