VRR / Freesync issue on LG Nanocell TV

I have LG 50NANO863PA (new 2021 model of 85 series with VA panel) and i have strange black smearing with enabled VRR or Freesync. If I disable VRR/Freesync black smearing is gone. I even tried different resolutions and refresh rates, but it's always the same. Game mode is enabled and TV is updated with latest firmware. Btw. TV is 4K 120Hz with HDMI 2.1 on ports 3 and 4 (Xbox Series X is on port 3 and PS5 on port 4). I don't know if this is issue with TV or with Xbox. If Sony would be so kind to enable VRR/Freesync on PS5 then I would be able to test if this is issue with TV and LG implementation of VRR/Freesync. Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated.

Xbox Series X with LG C1 --> Screen goes black for a about a second (audio still there) every 5-20 minutes

    Hi. I have a Series X and bought 4 days ago a LC C1 55"

Yesterday while playing Warzone and Halo Infinite w/ 4k@120 fps // HDR // Freesync Premium & VRR GSync activated on the TV // HGIG // Using the series X HDMI 2.1 cable --> every (5-20 minutes) i get a black screen for about a second before the image goes up again (audio still there) ive tried to:

    • Turn off Freesync Premium keeping VRR GSync activated but that didnt solved the issue
    • Go from PC mode on the LG to Game mode but that didnt solved the issue
    • Turn off completely the Xbox series X and unplug the LG C1 but that didnt solved the issue
Has anyone experienced this? is there a workaround? this didnt happened with my X900H 55" Sony (granted i didnt activated VRR in that TV)

I dont even know if the issue is VRR or if its another config of either the TV or the Xbox
Same issue!! is almoust a year i'm talking with xbox customer care or LG customer care. many clients has the same issue. then i bought also a samsung, problem solved! it is LG working with xbox the problem.

Samsung HG40EA790MS: FreeSync issue on Samsung Q7FN TV

    Hey Paul!

Not a resolution problem but a VRR/FreeSync issue. The XboxOneX detects my TV and enables Automatic Game mode and VRR/FreeSync. But I'm seeing these rolling bars. I can turn off VRR/FreeSync on both 1440p@120Hz and 4K@60Hz and the problem is gone.

So it's a VRR/FreeSync issue. I'm seeing on YouTube others demonstrating this new TV with these gaming features with XboxOneX and all of them have rolling bars. Some say they cant see it and that it can only bee seen when watching a recording because of
the refresh rate. But I can clearly see it.

So either I have some super eyes. Or there's something wrong somewhere or others claiming they cant see it haven't noticed it yet. An example of that is clouding on LCD TV's. People I know dont know what that is until I explain it and show it on their TV's.
Then they see it all the time suddenly....
