VR SUOPPORT

I’m so upset I bought the Xbox one X. Yet again more broken promises made by Microsoft. I have been patiently waiting for some type of news for VR coming to Xbox One X and that doesn’t seem like it’s happening. To me this was FALSE ADVERTISING!
It was my main selling point and even preordered the project scoripio edition. So upsetting this keeps happening and we keep letting these companies take our money that we work so hard for.

Shame on you guys!

New gamin system

Microsoft already have a more powerful machine due for 2017, which should be more than capable of supporting VR. As for a VR only console, I seriously doubt it. VR isn't for everyone and even VR enthusiasts wouldn't always want to play with a headset on.


In any case, a VR only console would be far to expensive at the moment.

Sorry you feel that way, but they never made it a point of emphasis. It may have been mentioned but VR was not a selling point for the X.

Maybe we’ll get lucky next generation.

 

The support forum is not a place to rant, so please refrain from doing so. You are in control of how you spend your money and are responsible for researching products before you buy. If you look closely at how Microsoft's VR offering, HoloLens, is marketed,
you will clearly see that there has been no focus on bringing it to Xbox. At the moment, it is continually being developed for the professional/PC market.
