    Hello, My situation is, I want to connect my laptop that has VPN enabled on it to my Xbox via an ethernet cable. Basically its Xbox one > ethernet cable> Laptop with VPN activated on it> ethernet cable from laptop> router. Guides online have said to
    use internet connection sharing. My presumption is that my laptop's VPN will be shared to my Xbox, I'm wondering how I would set this up step by step and if my VPN connection would also be shared to my Xbox one thanks VPNs :)

    The use of VPN is against the TOS.

    No It would not get you banned use a VPN that is as close to you as possible to prevent Higher Ping.

    it depends if you are trying to change the region you are playing or appearing in, for example if you are in the US but choose UK as the location for your vpn then there would be latency and also the store and currency would want to be in GBP etc

    It depends on the type of VPN as well honestly. If you have a built VPN service or VPN router, it may not be as bad.
