    With uprising of DDOSing players for any given reason from being petty to playing competitively, I believe there should be official Xbox support for VPNs. I’m sure that this has been tossed up in the air before, but it’s a pain to use the alternate methods to use a VPN on console and it’s not always reliable at least from what I’ve experienced.

    Unfortunately there is nothing that either Xbox Ambassadors or Xbox Support can advise as the VPN is a service that is not supported by Microsoft or your Xbox One console.

    No, I've stopped playing since then.

    About the modem, there are various models that support VPN. Mine is a TP-Link N600 series (W8980 probably, I can't remember well and I'm not at home right now to check it out) which is a double band router and supports VPN. I bought it from Digikala a few
    years ago.

    Anyway, as far I know, most of the new products support VPN, but if you want to be sure, I suggest to ask the retailer about it.

    VPN is not the same that is for people who want to access something out of their region the use VPN. as long as your in the same country as the account and console and game it should work if not call support they can help troubleshoot it.

    You have one option. Make VPN the region where XBOX LIVE is supported. Set up your Xbox to the region on which the VPN is, and then you will have Xbox Live available.
    Use of a VPN is a violation of the terms of service and can risk being banned.
