Volume up doesn't work

When I say Xbox volume up to my xbox one, it will show the notification in the top right corner of the screen, but it doesn't raise the volume On the tv. its been like this since March and I've tried pretty much every guide on the Internet. Any solutions?

Xbox one cannot control TV volume

I'm having the exact same problem with my pioneer vsx-519. Everything works in the wizard, then volume up and down doesn't work.

TB X12 + adapter problems

So I updated my controller and what not. Plugged everything in as required.

The game volume wheel on the headset doesn't work. There isn't two channels of audio (game and voice) how it normally functioned on my 360. The chat volume wheel only works to adjust the game/voice volume. So if someone is in my party i can't hear them unless
i crank up the chat volume wheel which results in turning up the game volume as well.

Anyone else experiencing this issue?

Have you setup your TV settings to work with your controller?

Many people say to turn the volume way up during the Kinect calibration process. I find that, for me anyways, that doesn't necessarily work (I've had better results at normal levels of volume).

Sometimes works for me and sometimes doesn't. In general I've found the commands to be very flaky and inconsistent, even with calibrating it. The only one that really works without any issue is the "volume up and down" voice command.

Yup same here. Works in wizard then volume control doesn't work later. All settings the same moving from xbox one day one to xbox one x.
