    Volume controls not working


    Recently for some reason i can't change the volume of my tv neither the app nor the comtroller can do it anymore. I had my lwft bumper set to shift and d-pad up and down to asjust the volume and one day it just suddently quit doing it. I've tried remapping
    the buttons and restarting my xbox can i get some help.

    @Studbucket33 I also have the UW40TC1W the volume and mute work (same as original poster).

    I just tried the codes you previously suggested with no luck:

    1712: volume controls work. tv on/off does not

    1300:volume controls work. tv on/off does not

    3949:volume controls work. tv on/off does not

    3579:neither volume or on/off works

    As soon as your log into xbox press the home button go all the way right untill u see the setting their should be some audio things u can move if that doesnt work it could be something out of the xbox if the tv volume is not working either. hope this helps

    Streaming to computer: controller and headset issues

    Ok, so I figured out that to get game audio/chat to work while streaming, we had to hook the controller up to the computer we are streaming to via USB. The headset stayed plugged into the controller. Yay! Game audio AND chat!

    NEXT PROBLEM: there seems to be no way to control game volume/chat volume while streaming. We have mute chat at the top, but that is all. The computer volume controls do not affect the stream, and the volume controls on the controller adapter also seem to
    do nothing.

    How do you control game/chat volume while streaming?

    XB1 Stereo Adapter Volume Control

    I use turtle beach headphones with the adapter. What I do is turn chat volume up with adapter, then I use the volume control on the cable connecting headset to controller to control chat volume while controlling game volume with volume control on the headset.

    Voice commands "xbox volume up" and "xbox volume down" should be working as long as kinect has been calibrated and the AVR device was set up properly. (voice is really cool and so far works way better than 360 Kinect for me....with my terrible southern accent
    and crackly voice...I'm VERY impressed with the improvements in this department)

    While voice control is great when it works, there are times I'd rather just use my controller.

    Anyone know if there is a way to change volume with JUST the controller?
