    Volume control troubles


    My one x use to control volume perfectly on my denon x4200w receiver. Now turning volume down from talon media remote no longer works, curiously volume up and mute still work fine. Seems to have changed after installing cyberpunk. Have tried resetting volume
    control for receiver and even exchanged the remote, no difference. Any ideas?

    Hello InsOmnia07, sorry to hear you're having trouble with your headset.

    Which brand headset is it please? Does it have a separate volume/mixer? If so then you would need to adjust the mixer and volume until you hear the game.

    If the headset does not have it's own volume/mixer then tap the Guide button on the controller to bring up the side menu and scroll down to the volume icon and adjust your settings there.

    If there is still no sound then it may be the 3.5 mm jack on the controller that is the problem

    XB1 Stereo Adapter Volume Control

    I use turtle beach headphones with the adapter. What I do is turn chat volume up with adapter, then I use the volume control on the cable connecting headset to controller to control chat volume while controlling game volume with volume control on the headset.

    Hello -Khia-, sorry to hear you're having trouble with your audio.

    Which model headset are you using please? It may be that it uses a separate mixer for the chat and game volume. If it does not then you can either tap the Guide button on your controller and scroll down to the audio icon in the lower right corner to adjust your mixer volume there or go into your Volume Settings on the console then select Additional Option and then Chat Mixer. Here you'll want to set it to reduce the volume of other sounds by 50%.
