    Ok so this won't fix it but it's a way to control it. If you have a smartphone get the YouTube app and connect it to your xboxs YouTube and from in the phones youtube app you can control that volume bar with the volume buttons on the side of your phone.
    This is the only way I've found that works so I guess we will have to do this until a fix comes out.

    unfortunately the posts regarding the issue did not help. Also noticed the volume control will not work from the Xbox smartglass app either.
