Volume changed when I switch to specfic application

Hi experts,

My PC uses Win 10 with the latest sound driver. I play a game called WarThunder (WT).

When I launch WT, the volume is set to 28 every time. When I switched to other applications, they uses the main Windows volume. When I switch from other to WT, the volume is automatically set to the 28 again, even I set the WT volume to other value, when I switch to other app then switch back to WT, the vol is still 28........ This issue does not occur in others application.

E.g. I'm viewing Chrome and set volume as 10, then I switch to WarThunder, the volume is automatically set to 28. Then I switch to another application Firefox, the system volume is still 10. Then switch again to Warthunder, vol is automatically set to 28 again....

I double check the WT's configuration, there is no such options. Most importantly, I have another laptop using same OS and running same game, there is no such sound volume issue, so this issue can be from Windows OS.

I would appriciate if someone can help.

Question, I can hear the game audio, but I cant change the chat volume, yet I can still hear my friends in party's and game chat. The only way I can change how loud there voice is to change the game volume on my X12. I tried going to preferences and voice,
but when I switch to play through headset, I don't hear my friends. Is there anyway I can change my friends voice volume? Because chat volume doesn't work on game chat and party chat.

There could be a larger than normal volume of applicants which would cause a delay in reviewing your application. When I applied it took over a week for me to hear back about my application.

How have you got your headset connected?

I ask because as there are separate volume controls for chat and game sound you should not encounter this problem.

I just tried using my switch, but it seems that the audio doesn't work on there either. If I had to guess, it has to do with my all in one itself. I tried turning the volume all the way up on my Nintendo Switch but it didn't change anything when connect to my PC.
