Volgarr the Viking FREE with GWG

Unfortunately this is only available in the US and the UK, the rest of the world gets the full game unlock for the (not) awesome Powerstar Golf. To top it off, it's now the 4th of November and we still can't download our game for the month. On the games
with gold section on the console, it still just has chariot and searching for it in the store results in it trying to charge $26.95 for our "free" game.

Looking on xbox.com it does come up in the games with gold section but still wants to charge us $26.95 for it.

I'm not complaining about something we get for free because we do actually pay real money for a service that includes access to games for the duration of our subscription (they are not free games and we don't get to keep them), I just want what I paid for.

 

@DigitalAssassin - Hey. I'm over in New Zealand and cheers for the heads up about why I couldn't find the Viking game.

I'll happily take Powerstar Golf as a freebie.

Ill also take power star golf Over the viking game. I'm over these Side scrolling games. I just want powerstar to unlock for us.

 

I can't find it. I even looked it up through the store on the console and it's not showing anywhere for me. Any ideas why?

Power Star unlock for Aus/NZ is now working and available.

^All I can say mate, is double check your region is getting the game you're trying to download and if that's not the issue then post here:

Sigh. I did before, and it did say that it wasn't available in Australia but I thought that it was so freaking ridiculous *and* there was nothing in the announcement saying that it was region restricted *and* the download link raised no objections when I
clicked it that I thought that there must be something wrong about the region restriction issue. I mean, come on. Not getting Volgarr and getting freaking golf instead? Just because I live in Australia? Why, because it's only in NTSC instead of PAL or something
(have so many NTSC games that aren't region-locked it seems almost like a rarity). Is that to protect it against people pirating a free game? Feeling kind of affronted over here. It doesn't stop at paying more than Americans in retail stores, now we can't
even play the same games.

 

This game reminds me of Rastan. I put so many querters into that machine. Im loving the game but i wish you could save.
