Volgarr the Viking FREE with GWG

Hahaha, just reading this thread is making me excited to play it. It is nearly as hard as dark souls?

After the very first checkpoint there will be 2 spitter plants practically next to each other. If you stab the ground where the second one was, there is another Thor's Blessing.

 

Game is freaking hard haha x)

I've discovered that there's 7 stages. Does it save your progress for later as you reach each stage? I ask because every time I go back to the game after a hiatus it starts the entire game over again - I'm trying to figure out if it does that similar to
the old school games of yore or if I just simply haven't made it far enough yet...

 

I hope there is a saved game. I would think there is though because there are two options. 1 for restarting the world and another to just reset or something similar.

 

It appears that there is a bug in the XONE version: Level skip doesn't work! Either the save process or the check is bugged..

 

However gamers in Germany, Russia, Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Australia, New Zealand and Brazil won't be receiving Volgarr the Viking, instead they will be receiving the full version of Powerstar Golf for the month instead.

 

Played Red Faction a couple years ago, but never got very far before I had to return it, so I'll be keen to give it another go sometime.

I'm sure the kids will enjoy Viva Pinata. I played the first and thought it was fairly groovy for what it is.

I currently can't download Volgarr the Viking at the moment as it isn't showing up and has no option to download, only pin to home when I did see it. Hopefully it shows up soon.

I don't believe we're getting the Viking game, I think we get powerstar golf or something instead, when I checked yesterday we still had chariot as the only free game and looking at the Aussie section in the forums, someone's not happy about the different
treatment, haha. To be honest, I'm getting a little over it too, I'll take every game news with a grain of salt now.

Quite simply, I don't believe it's going to be rated here, so we don't get it.

 

So they get a golf game? I am kind of sorry for them
