Voice "xbox turn off" error

Hi i were wondering if anyone can help, when i use the "xbox turn off" voice option my xbox doesnt turn off, its like it keeps on resetting itself. Theres no visual on tv, the kinect lights turn off and on and the light on the xbox just flashes like its
turning off but nothing happens. The only way i have found to resolve this is either keep hold of the off button or unplug the power plug from the socket. This has happened a few times now and quite curious if its happened to anyone else or if its a underline
issue thats not been reported yet. Thanks in advance

Voice commands - no response

I am finding that the voice command "xbox turn off" gives me the option boxes "yes" and "no" but after that no response Also the voice command to turn on is about 50/50 in regards to operating as it should

Voice command Xbox turn off"

For me, "XBOX On" might take a couple of tries, but "XBOX turn off" seems to work just about 100% of the time even if I say it softly. Maybe I'm saying it wrong. Is it "XBOX on" or "XBOX turn on"

How long do you leave it when it's just flashing? I have experienced it a few times but usually the console ends up turning off fully after a few minutes.

When it happened today it were about 20-25mins i left it before i turn it off manually. Ive never left it that long before i usual wait 10mins then turn it off.

Which power mode is your console in?

Settings > Power & Startup > Power mode.

So I've found that if you turn on your xbox one through "Xbox On" voice command with your controller being off on start up and you join a party voice will come from the speakers/TV and same with your voice input. However if I turn on the Xbox with
my controller and join a party it works fine with the voice coming from the headset. I don't know if that is just me or is the same issue that others are having, just wanted to try to help out

*I usually have to turn the console off then on again to make
the sounds go to the headset if already turned on by voice command (turning the controller off then on wouldn't fix the issue)

Pyramid @ It's possible to turn off Xbox by voice command. Which is, I think: "Xbox Turn OFF".
