Voice sounds choppy in chat

I am using the Afterglow Corded Chat Headset and the Xbox One wireless controller. My voice sounded very choppy through voice messages and friends said it sounds like I'm breaking in and out of chat. I didn't have this problem when using the Afterglow headset
with a corded Afterglow controller, but I can no longer use that controller. I changed my NAT type to open but that didn't solve anything. This isn't a problem when using Turtle Beach's Ear Force Recon 30X headset, but there is a static noise every time I
talk so I don't use that. Is this a brand compatibility issue, wireless controller issue, or something else entirely, and how do I fix it? Thanks in advance.

game chat works, party chat works badly

hey all.

so everything was fine, then a few days ago my party chat sounds terrible, everyones voice comes through very slow and choppy kinda like a slowed down robot. and party people said I sound like that to them, but they all sound fine to each other.

but when I enter game chat, we all sound fine ?

so it cant be anything on my end, what yall think it could be ?

Xbox 1 Kinect chat issue

Has anyone else had problems with their Xbox 1 Kinect recordings sound strange? If I send a voice message to a friend or try to record commentary for a highlight video I'm editing on my X1, the playback of my voice sounds like I'm talking through a huge
fan. Choppy and often missing some sound like a bad cell phone call. I have tried numerous fixes and it even does it while plugged in to a friends' Xbox. It was brand new from Target and I had never thought to check my Mic sound before. All of my friends say
the party chat sounds fine but the voice messages I send sound awful.
