    I have an xbox one and am having issues with the stereo headset mic. During an online game the mic suddenly and without warning stopped working. I can still hear but not be heard. I bought a new stereo headset thinking that was the answer because we all
    know how these thing love to break. That wasnt it. I was on with tech support for over an hour in which time i updated controllers that were already updated. Reset my xbox and redownloaded everything over again. Open ports change every setting that could be
    changed. Cycle power, turn off, turn on power. In the end i was told buy a new xbox one! Really? thats the best answer? Anyone have another

    Voice commands not working

    For "Xbox on" to work properly you need to have it set to instant-on.

    I'm sure it is, but go to settings, then all settings then start up mode. Turn instant on mode off if it's on and then reset your console. Turn it back on and turn back on instant-on.

    See if that helps.

    Mine does the same thing. I have tried everything to fix this. I even went out and bought a turtle beach headset to see if that would work.

    Hey Asurics,

    It appears that the account you're posting is a Xbox Live Silver account, which would limit Xbox Live party chat. I would ensure that you have an Xbox Live Gold subscription to be able to use party chat, or ensure that your Xbox One Home console is set by
    an account that has Xbox Live Gold.

    Happened to me today. I restarted my Xbox with the controller and the mic already attached and it worked. I have no idea if this is a fix. Starting without the mic attached to the controller defaulted to the Kinect for all chat.

    URL doesn't work. I have done some significant googling. I've checked the options. Done a hard restart. I've done a soft factory reset.

    Nothing has worked.

    I can hear conversations fine. I just can't speak.
