    Voice Not Working on Xbox One


    For some reason I can no longer talk through my headset. I can hear perfectly fine in games including game and party chat, but my mic is no longer picking up my voice chat.

    I reset my Xbox, both soft and factory reset. Made sure everything was updated. I replaced my Turtle Beach Atlas Elite with a brand new pair and replaced my Xbox Elite Controller 2 with a brand new standard Xbox One Controller. Contacted support and a Gamer
    tried to help, but none of their solutions helped, they suggested it could be my internet provider (AT&T), but I’m bit sure.

    It’s been a few days and the workaround I have is using my Kinect as a mic and playing game and audio through my TV, but I would like to use my headset again.

    Anyone experienced this issue?

    I checked my headset is not muted, I toggled it off and on again. Also I toggled the mute myself in an Xbox Live Party. When I speak, the ring around my gamer icon is not responding and others can not hear me.

    Yes, I checked that my headset is up to date, the Turtle Beach Elite Atlas usually just plugs into the controller, also I updated the the controller with the headset plugged in.

    Have you checked to be sure you don't have the headset audio set to off? I've done that a few times and forgot to turn audio back on.

    Also have you checked to be sure your Turtle Beach Headset is up to date? Most headsets need an update and come with an app these days.

    Sound works on both of them, and voice was working on my old one for years. Not a headset issue. It's xbox.

    I am from Russia. I recently bought a Xbox One. It works fine and understands my voice commands in English.

    In Xbox One (OneGuide) no support for Russian cable television providers. And no voice commands to change channels.

    I'd like to have voice commands: NEXT CHANNEL, PREVIOUS CHANNEL and CHANNEL [NUMBER CHANNEL].
