    How do I mute voice chat on the xbox one? I seriously grow tired of people talking about nonsense or just blatant cursing when im trying to enjoy a game and not have anyone else in my house have to listen to it.

    .

    Like Zombie said, while in the lobby it's the right time to go through the server list.

    xbox beta pc mute problem

    the application(and overlay) shows me i have not muted them before I go to the party voice chat, but when i join to the voice chat the app shows me i have muted other guys and i cant remove that mute

    Headset: Can hear friends, but mic won't detect my voice. Tried 2 headsets. Kinect mic works!

    Also, if I record a voice message, Xbox says no mic detected; check to see if your mic is muted.

    It's NOT muted!

    Also, as for this tip:

    "Other players cannot hear you

    Make sure that the volume level is set correctly and that the volume is not muted in the Personal Settings area. To do this, follow these steps:

    Press the Xbox Guide button on the Xbox 360 controller.

    Scroll right to Settings.

    Select Preferences.

    Select Voice.

    Make sure that the Mute option is not selected. To turn off the Mute option, select Mute, and then press the A button.

    Increase the volume. To do this, select the volume bar, and then press the D-pad or the left stick."

    I don't have this option "Mute" under the Voice menu...
