Voice chatting in MC PE

Okay sorry for this and everything, but is there a voice chatting option for Minecraft pocket edition? I ask because my gremlins are playing with their cousin who is across the country and it would be so much easier if they could just voice chat than
having to keep typing. Thank you.

Minecraft Pocket Edition does not have an option for voice chat, only text chat in the multiplayer version (https://blogs.windows.com/devices/2015/09/18/how-to-play-multiplayer-minecraft-pocket-edition/).
Your only options are for them call their cousin through the phone or over skype, or to use the Xbox companion app on their device. (https://www.xbox.com/en-US/console-companion-app)

No it isn't. Though Minecraft PE and the Win 10 release are the same version of the game you would need to purchase the Win 10 version by itself. Cross play IS possible between Win 10 and MC PE.

The older PC version was based on Java and isn't compatible with either the Win 10 or MC PE version as they use a different programming language.

Same, it takes me to a white screen that’s apparently already loaded when I try to sign into MC PE. I can’t sign in or play with my friends.

Whether or not the voice in the trailer is the MC or not it was definitely a new character voiced by Ned Luke.
