Voice Chat on Game DVR on Xbox On

Hey,

First, can I record the voice of my friend in the party (or record the Game Chat)

Else if, can you add this option on Game DVR please.

In-game voice chat is not captured on the Xbox DVR game clips - unless the game has a built in chat system that could make it record but it usually won't.

The xbox DVR does not capture voice chat. It only captures Gameplay

Hi there!

Yes! You can definitely include the audio of the friends in your party chat. When you're recording your game open the Xbox guide and scroll to the Broadcast and Capture tab and there should be a box you can check off that says "Include party audio" or something
along those lies but the option is there when you select Set up your broadcast.

You can't include game chat in Game DVR clips. You can add voice-overs to your clips, but cannot include current gameplay chat. You would need a Capture Card to be able to do that. You would need to use the Xbox Feedback site to voice your opinion on the
matter.

The game DVR will capture voice chat if it is in-game. Even then I think it might be for some games. My only experience is SoT where we used world chat and it picks it up our vocals. It could be for more games but that would have to be something to try.
