Voice chat banned for responding to a taunt message

So this is the second time I have gotten my chat banned for responding to a message sent to me. They other person reported me and I get my chat banned for like two weeks. And as I understand it these bans occur when another player feels "unsafe". I had a
message sent to me by a sore winner gloating at his victory so I responded and he reported me. He did not feel unsafe, he was just annoyed that he could not verbally best me. So he reports me and I get a chat ban for responding. I do not think this is deserved
and I truly believe there should be an extremely extensive process for reporting other players because little kids and or sore losers abuse this system and get players banned for absolutely ridiculous reasons.

So I Was Banned For Communication Can You Show What Did Wrong Like A Screenshot Of A Chat Message I Sent And If It Was A Voice Chat Argument How Can You Prove That?

 

Banned for one week from voice chat

Don't know how this happens, playing with friends in parties, then between games I get a message saying my account is banned for one week from voice chat. I think someone on my friends list was just playing a joke but how do you get banned from voice chat
that easy. Playing halo 4 everyday and need voice chat to communicate with teammates. Would like this ban lifted. Have never bothered anyone online in any fashion. Thanks for your time.

 

doesn't matter the issue is your responded it's not just about a threat

Any forms of bad communication that is reported can and will incur a communication ban

This includes cursing sexual references etc

Next time just report itit so you might want to brush up on the terms of use

In plain layman terms keep it clean and rated e for everyone

It doesn't matter if he taunts you its how you and him.respomd if he cursed at you you can report him however if you cursed at him he can report you no matter what he did just as well

The reason doesn't justifies the responce

If someone harasses you on xbox live you can report that person and block him/her from further harassment. Retaliating is a breach of the Code of Conduct and as such object to an enforcement act.

I wouldn't get banned again for the same thing as the next time it will probably be permanent. The progression is usually a day, a week, 2 weeks and then permanently banned. Keeping this up will not be in your best interest.
