VOD Menu on biz when channel change w/oneguide

Discus and support VOD Menu on biz when channel change w/oneguide in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; When I change the channel with one guide on my Xbox through my cable box it changes the channel but it also brings up an on-demand menu for that...     VOD Menu on biz when channel change w/oneguide


    When I change the channel with one guide on my Xbox through my cable box it changes the channel but it also brings up an on-demand menu for that channel making me have to either channel up or channel down or get my cable box remote to exit the OnDemand channel.

    I can’t be the only one with this issue, I am usually the guy that searches for the issue & solution not posting it lol. However I cannot find any on this one.

    Cannot leave live TV once in live TV

    I do start all voice commands with "Xbox 1". When I say "Xbox 1, go home," it takes me to the OneGuide channel menu. If I say "Xbox 1, turn off", it takes me to the Xbox OneGuide channel menu, etc...

    Won't change channels

    My one won't change the channel via voice commands or oneguide. I can change them via the smartglass app and my remote. I'm using the new x1 hd DVR w/ updated menu's.

    I have the same issue but my oneguide wont change the channel but when using the remote on xbox app I can type the channel number. The ir blaster works but oneguide needs update

    The best way to report the incorrect channels in the OneGuide troubleshooting section in your Xbox One settings.

    • Press the Menu button on your Xbox One controller and select 'Settings'.
    • In the Settings menu, select 'TV & OneGuide'.
    • Select 'Troubleshooting'.
    • From here select 'Report a OneGuide problem' and select 'Wrong channel'.
    This will report the error directly to the proper folks.

    I see, what we will have to do next is report the missing channels in TV & OneGuide settings so that this issue can get sent to the proper folks. Follow the steps below to report missing channels in OneGuide.

    • On your Xbox One controller, press the Menu button and select Settings.
    • From the Settings menu, select TV & OneGuide.
    • From here, select Troubleshooting.
    • In the Troubleshooting menu, select 'Report a OneGuide problem', and then select 'Missing Channel' in the drop menu.
    Follow those steps and the report be sent to the proper folks, I'm sorry for any inconvenience this has caused and I really hope you get up and running soon!
