Vizio tv input problem

When I power on my system the input tries switching to hdr10 but can't so it just jumps back and forth from 2160p hdr10 to normal and back and forth back and forth with a black screen. Any fixes out there?

I get this from time to time on my Vizio. All I do is change the input, wait for it to change all the way (like to cable), then switch back and the sound pops back on. Although, a couple of times it didn't work and I had to shut down and restart my console.

for me this problem only seems to be with my Vizio. I haven't had this problem with any other TV's, heck even older tube TV's have been better. No more Vizio's for me!

Whats the brand and model of the TV? I have a Vizio P55-c1 and Im able to view 4k content via xbox netflix app. also which input is the One S connected to? Some 4K Tvs only have 1 input available to allow 4k

I'm having the same issue. My Directv box is plugged into hdmi on the xbox one and then into Input 1 on my vizio tv. Then optical audio out my tv to a vizio sound bar. It is really annoying. I don't seem to notice it when I'm playing games or watching
streaming movies. Only on the live tv function.

If there was a way to delay the video signal slightly it could match up. The adjustments on my TV are always delaying the audio which is already delayed.

Reading the setup manual it says you should connect the soundbar to the TV by optical/digital/RCA or RCA 3.5mm and to use only ONE of these connections.

Try connecting optical cable to TV and Soundbar then disable internal sound on TV and finally connect the Xbox One to the TV by HDMI. Choose the correct input on the Vizio remote and see if its any better.
