    Vizio soundbar


    So back in February I purchased a vizio soundbar to go with my 40 inch vizio tv. The sound bar worked great and the sound was amazing. However when the march update became available along with the controller update and the headset adapter. My soundbar
    and my astro A30 headset now have static and poping in the audio. As well as what I can only describe as what sounds like someone blowing air into a mic. It gets so bad I have to turn the surround sound off. Any one else having these issues? Is there anything
    I can do to fix this? Or is it a problem on Microsofts end due to the last patch? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

    Upgraded to Xbox One S now surround sound no longer works (0x80bd0009)

    TV:

    Vizio P50-C1

    Sound:

    Vizio SB3851-D0 Smartcast38" Soundbar System (2016) model

    Connections used:

    Optical from Xbox to Sound Bar + Xbox to TV HDMI

    Optical from Tv to Soundbar + Xbox to Tv HDMI

    XBOX to Soundbar via HDMI, Soundbar to TV HDMI

    XBOX To TV HDMI, TV to Soundbar HDMI (ARC)

    I'm unable to send screenshots at this time, but with every combination I received The exact same error depicted by SpoopyJilan. Thank you for doing this, Much appreciated!

    X1 not turning my sound bar on or off since new update!!!

    Same here my xbox will turn off my vizio soundbar and control volume but it wont turn it on! Everything was fine before the update...

    Vizio soundbar

    Could you post some more details. Model of the Vizio TV and sound bar. Also what settings you're using under your audio output. Bitstream Dolby or uncompressed stereo for both HDMI and Optical need some more details.

    Best Soundbar

    If money is no object, then check out the Sonos soundbar ($700 I think).

    On a budget, Vizio's soundbars are highly recommended and on sale often (under $200). The models with a subwoofer and wireless rear speakers are awesome.
