    Viva Pinata won't install for Windows 10


    Personally, I'm not a fan of Xbox and my family owns none of their consoles. For nostalgia purposes, however, I purchased Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise from the Xbox store on my Windows 10 PC. I realize now the game won't install, from what I assume is a lack of a console. Is there any way I could work around this? Is there a chance I did something wrong? I have a Microsoft and Xbox account on my PC, if that means anything.

    viva pinata for pc was released with windows live years ago and is no longer available, you bought the trouble in paradise which did not have a pc release and would need a 360 or xbox one or xbox series console, there is no way around this unless you purchase the xbox ultimate pass and played via the cloud.

    better to just pick up a cheap used xbox 360, get them cheap these days.

    Usually a CRC error indicates a fault on the disc. These can sometimes be corrected, but not always. Check the disc for fingerprints & scratches, and give it a clean if necessary. There are tools which can recover seriously damaged discs, but they don't
    always work unfortunately.

    If cleaning the disc doesn't help, searching for that specific error on that specific game may offer more help. I have come across these errors myself, but each one can be very different.

    From what I have read, installing this on Windows 10 can be a challenge, but I did find a few posts on it, like this one:
