    Viva Pinata and GFWL issue


    I purchased Viva Pinata 9 years ago for PC and, back then (and, evidently still does), it required Games for Windows Live in order to access it. After downloading and installing the latest version ( ver. 3.5.0067.0/3.5.0095.0 ) I'm getting an error that
    says "There was an error retrieving your purchase history. Please sign out and try again." I've spoke with someone at MS and they were of little help, asking me to ask people on Reddit... Is there no way other than this to receive the game? I can provide
    proof of the purchase by way of date ordered and the order number itself.

    Hi there,

    Thanks for your post. I understand you are experiencing an issue with downloading Viva Pinata. How are you now attempting to install your game? You may want to try installing it from the Microsoft Store app on your PC if you haven't already.

    If I had a nickle for every post silvercube made in 2013.... I would be pretty poor lol.

    If anything viva pinata, I would go with just Viva Pinata, or Viva Pinata Trouble in Paradise (if considering replay value imo).
