I' attempting to download Visual C++ 2005 SP1 redistributable and it appears 2 of the files may have downloaded but one vcredist_IA64 comes up with "This installation package is not supported by this processor type. Contact your product vendor. " this is a new gaming computer i just purchased with windows 10 or 11. please advise

I would also point out that normally you shouldn't need to download these manually. If a game or application requires a certain Visual C++ the download will normally also be included as part of the install.

You'll only need the x86 and x64 redistributables. The IA-64 is for Intel Itanium which very few people would have.
