To change the MTU size, you'll need to launch a web browser from a computer or mobile device connected to you routers network.

The user name will be admin and the password will be password, Select Advanced>Set Up>WAN Set Up

In the MTU size field, enter a value from 64 to 1500, click apply and the settings will be saved

Well that's a pain....lol....Might have to contact your service provider, they'll be able to sort it out for you. I had the same problem years ago. So yeah, i'd go straight to the source and get them to sort it out for you.

UPnP can be activated on a router but that doesn't always mean you are getting a Full Cone NAT, I have a router that isn't on the supported Microsoft Router Page, it's a VisionNET router and it has UPnP but the thing is it didn't have Full Cone NAT Activated,
so call your ISP and that turned on and see if that fixes your problem.

No, I think the MTU message in this instance is just a last ditch error message, it isn't really complaining about MTU I think its really saying "I can't connect to live.. " and just gives an MTU error as it doesn't know how else to describe it.

A lot of Xbox MTU error messages are nothing to do with MTU just a failure to connect
