Visage game pass version not downloading (PC)

Hello,

Im trying to download a game on game pass called Visage. The game gets stuck on Preparing 0%

ITS the only game pass game that everytime i try to download it it gets stuck on preparing. I tried downloading other games and they were all ok and were downloading except for this one

HELP.

Cancel/remove the game from your download queue and follow these steps.

1. Logout from Xbox app and Microsoft Store app

2. Look for the Xbox app and Microsoft Store in the Windows bar, right-click, click app settings and then click terminate, restore and reset.

3. Clear the store cache type ''wsreset'' in the Windows bar, run as admin, and wait for the screen to close and open the store automatically.

4. Login with your account again in both apps

5. Open the Microsoft Store, click on the 3 dots in the upper right corner ''download and updates'' and click on ''get updates'' and update everything. After these steps restart your PC and try again.

If you have the Game Pass for PC or the Ultimate Game Pass (which includes PC) then you can download the PC version of the game and continue playing on your account

If you also own the digital version of the game for Xbox and you are signed in with the same Microsoft account on your PC you can download the game via the Windows 10 Store.

If you only have the disc version on console then you won't qualify for a free PC copy of the game.

They are playing on PC as well and with Game Pass Ultimate. I have Game Pass Ultimate and the game downloaded but cannot play with them because I did not download through the Microsoft Store?

Did you download the steam version for PC already? I think they are seperate IDs, so you would need the Microsoft store version to play with them, so yes, you will need to download that version to play with them

As far as I am aware, there is no cross platform play between Steam and Xbox when it comes to Ark, so your Steam version cannot communicate with their Game Pass version of the game. You would have to download the Game Pass version of the game and start fresh
there in order to play with other people using the Game Pass version.
