a While using IE on my xbox one, I received a message "security at risk" your PC has detected a virus attack on your browser. Contact customer support @ 1-877-393-4072. Now my IE app won't work.

also you can turn of your router to reset your IP ADDRESS but OBSESSIVE POWER is correct also an (dos) and (ddos) attack is probably what happened

i was playng forza 3 multiplayer when i was sent a party request and a message titled "44". as soon as i opened it i was disconnected. now, IF i can sign in, it will let me stay for usually about 10 mins. slowly the connection will get worse, then disconnect. its
not just limited to forza like some people have suggested. all other games and apps affected. i never had any problems like this before. whats goin on?

 

Hi Jarb! Don't worry, this is not as bad as it sounds. There are a number of sites out there which, when accessed on a PC, give these types of messages, expecting you to immediately call a number or click something - the thing is, the message SAYS you have
a virus, but you really don't until you actually try to click the banner (or, in less-severe cases, it's just a number to call where they try to sell you something.) On a PC, you can actually just close the tab or window and start fresh, but on Xbox One, there's
no obvious way to do that, so it appears "locked" on the offending webpage.

Try this - load your IE browser which is stuck on the virus message and on your controller press the button with the two interlocking squares (called the "view" button.) This will bring up the IE address bar and the currently active tabs, which can each
be closed. If you close the tab with the virus message in it, you should be able to use the browser again.

i have the exact same problem but the only button that works is the xbox button and it just takes me back home

 

Do I need to upload an antivirus on the xbox for protection while browsing or using IE?
