Virtual remote not loading when xbox has woken from quick start

Same problem here.

I'm researched this a bit and it seems the Xbox usually don't reply to pings and when it doesn't, it can also not be woken up. I'm running a Ping Monitor and it tells me every now and then the Xbox responds for maybe a minute.

Also...if you queue a download from smartglass, it Wakes something up so it starts responding to pings again. (and thus can be woken up)

when titanfall has to load up a game of multiplayer it contacts the server, and the server loads up a virtual server.

That's really not how it works.

For a start if the virtual server was only started when the call was made the load times would be much longer. Not to mention that it would be quite possible that the physical server(s) could be under heavy load from more active titles, therefore increasing
load times even further.

Virtual servers are always running, ticking along in the background. Think of it like an app process on your phone, you might not actively be using it but most of the time it is still running in the background.

What Azure does is not unique at all, what is is how Microsoft are allowing companies to access that ability.

I'm surprised all these wives-kids hate the tv integration.. the ability to use voice commands rather than finding a remote should make them fans pretty quick! "xbox volume up" "xbox volume down" etc are pretty awesome from the kitchen when the remote is
way over in the living room.

But in any case.. yes, this feature is really needed. Please let us start up tv on boot!
