    Virtual Driving


    One of the big attractions to MSFS2020 is the real world maps where a user can go through the world and see the buildings and landscape and even weather as they really are, not just a computer generated assumption. There are other driving simulators such
    as American Truck Simulator where you can drive around parts of the country on real-ish landscapes and cities. Given that Covid is keeping everyone constrained, I was thinking that it would be very easy for MS to create a driving simulator where you could
    take a virtual road trip anywhere in the world, and the scenery and weather would be very close to real. It could also be used to help young drivers learn their skills. MS has everything it would need for this already, it's just like taxiing an airplane
    with no wings. Who wants to go on a road trip!?

    Oh I see now.

    Apparently they are Xbox Virtual disk drives. The Xbox file system for these games are ported over which creates the hidden virtual drives.

    0x80070015 Error install games on Xbox Game Pass due to "storage has been disconnected"

    if anyone is getting this error 0x80070015and is running PowerISO, you need to disable any virtual drives. Start PowerISO, go to Tools > Virtual Drive > Set Number of Drives > Disable. This solved the problem for me.

    Hey Connor, do you happen to have PowerISO installed?

    If so you may have to disable the virtual drive option in that program.

    Open PowerISO app > Options > Configuration > Virtual Drive > Number of Virtual Drives > Set to Disabled

    This is what happened to be the cause of my error. After making that change I was able to download on other drives.

    Cannot download GamePass PC games through Xbox Beta App, with error 0x80070005

    You need to disable any virtual drives. Start PowerISO, go to Tools > Virtual Drive > Set Number of Drives > Disable. This solved the problem for me. Weirdly enough now everything works.
