I would recommend to ask the support from the developer for any information how the game handles these purchases. The xbox store will only work with the region you are living in and has a valid adress to your payment information. Hope that helps.

He's a friend of mine who moved to the UK...We used to play with each other until he moved to UK but decided to just not reset his home Xbox..

I would like to purchase virtual currency on my own account...But his account region now is UK and mine is US,,,

I was just wondering if it will work...I will be purchasing virtual currency using a US account and play the game which is owned by the UK account using the US account...I was just wondering before I make the purchase if the virtual currency would still
appear in-game even though my region is different from the game's owner?

Another thing you can do that i learned over the years that if you want to purchase a game in a different currency that you obtain but cant buy within your xbox is change your location online and purchase the game on online on that currency location then

No. The currency would be tied to their account since they purchased it and would not show up in your account at all.

Also, just a heads up, if you gave each other your account information in order to gameshare, that does violate the code of conduct and you would be putting yourselves at risk for being banned.

If your account is in the US region, then your market will only allow you to purchase currency acceptable in the US. There is no telling how a game will react to currency purchased in other regions. The best way to find out would be through the developers
(2K19 Support) to see if they have implemented any sort of blocker from using currency between games purchased in different regions.
