Virgin Tivo in UK

Just A little heads up for all getting OneGuide for Virgin Tivo, when first setting device up it may be required to send power command 2/3 times before XB will recognise the Tivo box, on the 3rd time wait for 10sec it should then connect. The same goes for
setting up OneGuide, it may take a couple of tries to recognise the box. Hope this helps guys, have fun

Anyone help with IR blaster on UK Virgin Tivo STB?

 

TV sound only in stereo

I have the exact same issue. Virgin TiVo going into Xbox one via HDMI, then HDMI to 5.1 receiver, then HDMI to TV. No 5.1 from the Virgin TiVo movie channels, but everything else is fine.

I'm really struggling to get the kinect to communicate with my Tivo. Should I just wait longer??

 

Hey DemJ, it may take a couple of tries to get all the connection set, It took me three goes, it is the Samsung box you will need to select, once all cables are connected, switch off all boxes and un-plug, then turn on again after 3 minutes ish, you may
need to turn off and un-plug xbox each time it fails to connect. You may need to reset your TiVo box as a last resort, once connected you will then need to go through the Kinect set up process, make sure you have oneguide set up as this helps keep the connections
strong. once set up set I am sure you will enjoy using it as much as I do, good luck friend
