VIP vault prize question.

I have a question regarding the My VIP vault prizes. Do the reward credits prizes get deposited directly into your account or do you need to request a deposit and wait a week like with normal reward points? I only ask because there's a sale that expires
a few days before I would get them if I need to request a deposit, so I'm just trying to determine if it would be better to just save the VIP gems I have.

The vague statement followed by the message being locked so no one can respond. Probably just following orders. I'd really hate to be support here right now.

Canceling the rewards program before all of the goals can be fulfilled was a really bad idea. They should have bitten the bullet for at least a year (with ample warning) before making a move like this. Whoever decided the value of the vault items probably
screwed up and Microsoft was probably losing money - or not making as much as projected. Making sure that digital currency is never in stock protects the bottom line, I'm sure.

I have saved up my gems that I have earned over the years in the effort to one day cash in for something really good. However, with the Xbox Rewards program being canceled and merged with Microsoft Rewards soon, I realized I needed to redeem my gems while
they were still worthwhile (this is due to each gem being only worth 1 microsoft point when the change happens dramatically reducing their value). I am an extremely dissatisfied customer due to the majority of the prizes in the vault being sold out and not
being restocked. Even things such as Xbox gifts cards which are literally the companies own currency have been “sold out” ever since I have considered spending my gems. I have tried to be patient but I have checked back nearly daily for a month now and nothing
has changed. On top of that, customer service has been extremely unhelpful in response to similar posts that I have seen. The response always states “We update the vault with new items and restock popular ones on a regular basis, so be sure to check back often.”
However, this vague statement that is constantly repeated has yet to be fulfilled. I have been a loyal customer to Xbox and have participated faithfully in the rewards program. I simply want the vault to be restocked so that I may be treated fairly and rewarded for
my loyalty as this program comes to an end.

 

When you redeem gems for credits, it takes 96 hours for the credits to show as pending in your account and then they are deposited by the following 15th or 30th of the month like regular credits. So if you were to redeem some today, they would not be deposited
until mid-April.

From the FAQ on Vault Credits:

I claimed Rewards Credits from the vault. When will I receive them?

If you claim Rewards Credits from the MyVIP Vault, they should appear as pending in your account within 96 hours. Once they are pending in your account, the normal deposit process kicks in. Generally if you have over 5,000 Rewards Credits pending in your
account in the first half of any given month, that amount will be converted to your local currency and deposited into your Microsoft account on or around the 30th of that same month. If the Credits show as pending in the second half of the month, that amount
will be deposited into your Microsoft account on or around the 15th of the next month.

Please note you need at least 5,000 Rewards Credits pending to automatically trigger a deposit, though you can request a deposit for the next scheduled date as long as you have 1,000 Credits pending. Also, if you have ongoing issues with us depositing
into your account, such as your account not matching up with your billing location, you might want to consider choosing a different prize from the vault, as we won’t be able to deliver your Rewards Credits until the deposit issue is resolved.
