VIP Stars?

Hi, I am a bit confused about the VIP status. How exactly does it work? And what exactly does it do? I got 2 star rank for a couple of years now and I was wondering how do you reach another star rank? Once you reach a rank, do you get to keep that rank forever?
or can you lose stars?

VIP Pass is free right now which gives access to multiplayer...back then you had to pay for it so snatch it quick for free if you plan on seeing if multiplayer works for this game

Do we know what the VIP-only cars are going to be? And are there going to be any Unicorn cars?

 

Star levels are based on how much you spend in the marketplace each year. You can see how much you need to spend for each level at
http://rewards.xbox.com/terms-and-conditions Ranks reset each year (on January 1) so in order to maintain your rank, you have to spend the same amount (or more) each year.

 

You need to spend alot of money to rank up there, and not to forget they'll just reset it at the end of the year. It's not really worth until you can keep your VIP Level.

 

The main problem is for some bizarre reason pre-ordering doesn't count to this total, so what is likely the most expensive purchase you make via Xbox is not factored in. My biggest gripe with the VIP star system for sure, that and the fact that it resets
each year.

If you're lucky there are enough games you care about in one season to complete a pre-order punch card (but normally not) which at least gets you some credits back.
