VIP STARs

I spent 45 dollars towards a 100 dollars star rank up and it still shows 0. Its been over 96 hours. Even under my normal percentage for the year is at 4 percent. 45 out of 300 is 15 percent so why does it show 4 percent? Also I preordered sniper elite which
releases this month will that count?

VIP Stars?

The main problem is for some bizarre reason pre-ordering doesn't count to this total, so what is likely the most expensive purchase you make via Xbox is not factored in. My biggest gripe with the VIP star system for sure, that and the fact that it resets
each year.

If you're lucky there are enough games you care about in one season to complete a pre-order punch card (but normally not) which at least gets you some credits back.

 

VIP Stars?

Star levels are based on how much you spend in the marketplace each year. You can see how much you need to spend for each level at
http://rewards.xbox.com/terms-and-conditions Ranks reset each year (on January 1) so in order to maintain your rank, you have to spend the same amount (or more) each year.

 

Support will check your status, but preorders do not count towards VIP.

As Smwutches says, pre-orders are not eligible for MyVIP, so your pre-order will not award progress for either MyVIP or the MyVIP star offer.

 

so I should buy the game after its out? Microsoft is stupid if thats the case. level up system is a bad deal then. I was thinking 300 to the next level not a full 900. Microsoft lost their minds on this crap. xbox 360 averaged 10 games per system yet you
need over 30 games to get to five stars? and do it every year **** no

 

now mods are erasing my comments lol 4800 per year to get to 5 stars is insane. thats 80 games

 

I'm not sure which region you're in, but based on the "$900" figure for 3 stars I'm guessing you're in the USA. If that's the case, it's $1,800 for 5 stars, not $4,800 as you indicated. If you're not in the USA region thenyou can check the terms and conditions
