    now mods are erasing my comments lol 4800 per year to get to 5 stars is insane. thats 80 games

    so I should buy the game after its out? Microsoft is stupid if thats the case. level up system is a bad deal then. I was thinking 300 to the next level not a full 900. Microsoft lost their minds on this crap. xbox 360 averaged 10 games per system yet you
    need over 30 games to get to five stars? and do it every year **** no

    For help with the rewards program you'll want to post in the Xbox Rewards Questions support forum. Keep in mind that star levels are based on how much you spend in the marketplace and subscriptions, in-game consumables, and preorders do not count towards
    VIP.

    Xbox Live rewards rebate issue

    As of September 2014, VIP status is no longer based on gamerscore (btw, legend status only have 3% back). VIP status is now based on star levels. You need at least 1 star level in order to receive a VIP rebate.

    In order to receive credits for purchases, they either have to be eligible for a specific offer on the site at the time, or you need at least 1 star level in order to receive VIP rebates.

    I'm having the same problem; all of a sudden my VIP rank went from 66% of the way to 5 stars as a 4-star, to 91% of the way to 4 stars as a 3-star.
