VIP star rank reset?!

Ranks reset each year. They were scheduled to be reset on January 1.

Per the terms of the previous punch card, since Resident Evil is released after that punch card ended, it would not actually complete the card and give you credits until after the game is released later this month.

Will my Star Rank change from year to year?

In September 2015, a year after we first launched MyVIP, we re-evaluated the program and made adjustments where necessary. In order to respond to our growing membership numbers and expanded regions, we adjusted the levels of MyVIP to better focus on offering
additional monthly missions and other ways to earn for more members around the globe.

Based on community feedback from our members, there was some confusion about when and how MyVIP would be recalibrated on a yearly basis. In order to simplify and streamline the process, and to let you know exactly how much time you have to build your rank,
moving forward we will recalibrate your Star Rank progress based on the calendar year. This means that you currently have until 31 December 2016 to boost your starting 2017 MyVIP Star Rank, which will be based on your overall spend between 1 September 2015
to 31 December 2016. You can see your current projected Star Rank for 2017 on MyRewards.

In the future, we will consistently recalibrate your MyVIP Star Rank based on your calendar year spend from 1 January to 31 December. We are also focused on adding even more ways to Reward our most loyal VIP members with additional special offers and VIP

Since MyVIP was recently re-calibrated, you were put into your MyVIP level for the beginning of this year based on your total eligible spending from last year (September 2015 - December 2016). Since you only spent enough to be placed at a one star level,
you were put at one star, and had your progress set to default.

Support will check into why you were lowered so much, but ranks reset each year. In order to maintain or reach a higher level, you have to spend the same amount or more each year in order to keep your star levels. If you spend less, you can drop levels.

I can confirm Smwutches' response. MyVIP is re-calibrated every year. Also, since Resident Evil releases after the end of the previous Games on Demand, you will not see a punch (and therefore pending Credits for completion) until up to 96 hours after that
games' release.

Wow I was on 84% aswell Ill think twice before buying games near the reset because my money is just going to be "reset", it took me ages and over £400 to get it there
